Report by Brigham Young University folklore student Melissa Sucher about a humorous flier that was written by University Police to draw attention to thefts, particularly from unlocked lockers in the athletic facilities. A copy of the flier is included in the report.

Report by Brigham Young University folklore student Dirk Linderman, who collected information from his grandmother, Blanche Peterson. Branding calves required a good roping horse and careful observation of the mother cow's brand. Report includes a photocopy of photograph of a man roping.

Report by Brigham Young University folklore student Keith Johnson about a Chinese scholar's censer, made in Taiwan of carved, stained bamboo, shows the proper pursuits of scholars and their happiness as thinkers. It is intended to calm the soul and dispel demons. This particular item was given to collector as a gift, having formerly been a family heirloom.

Report by Brigham Young University folklore student Coray Christensen about Novations, a Provo consulting firm that often gives out t-shirts to those who worked on a project when it is sold. In 1997 the firm did a million dollars' worth of business and made every employee a shirt as described herein.

It depicts part of a conversation between a facial tissue and some toilet paper.
